Review of Helen Hunley Insurance by Teena
Had a very bad experience with this insurance company. I called to get insurance when we were buying a home in Rocky the day before taking possession. I mentioned we were using it for work seasonally and may rent it out as airbnb when not using it. Bonny the agent on the phone told me they didn't do airbnb insurance. I called her back the next day to tell her we would just get regular insurance for now as the airbnb wouldn't be happening this year or for awhile (not sure if we would do it at all). She was extremely rude, told me she would not give us insurance and that I was a BC resident so "go use your provider in BC". I again asked her why we couldn't get insurance through her for now- she said "NO", get it in BC. We called another insurance broker in Rocky Mountain House - ING insurance who were amazing / friendly / helpful - had our insurance papers ready when we arrived in town and didn't care what our future plans were but helped us get insurance on the home right away.
