The worst laptop repair shop ever! I took my laptop to Tara CompuNet in Brampton to have a virus and malware removed from it. My computer was like an endless advertising board. After 3 days I picked it up and paid. Yet, the virus and all the malware, including overwhelming advertising were still there. Yet, in addition to the problems I had already I could now also no longer get into my email account. I still cannot get into it now! How Tara managed this I don't know, but they successfully locked me out of my email account, which I could always use until I brought it to them I took the laptop back, but now they also erased my complete Microsoft Word program. Although, I had messaged them before not to erase any programs, because I was not in my country and might have replacement problems. I had bought the laptop at a large shopping mall store in Bangkok, Thailand last year and bought MS Word with it, because I work with it professionally. Better in fleecing their customers than in repairing, they caused direct damages for about +/- $300. They are definitely chancers at the risk of their customers. They then told me that I had to put MS back on my own. I live in Thailand, know nothing about computers, my MS licence is certainly at the store or at home there. I know, however, that no one should trust Tara with a computer. Sadly, customer protection, while in theory 100%, doesn't seem to exist in practice in Canada. I am meanwhile aware that they have left more customers as victims on the roadside
