Audio-Video Electronics is the worst company, was the worst experience I have ever encountered in my life... The service manager - Kent (or Ken) is completely insane.... I called this company yesterday about the problem with my Samsung TV (they were listed on Samsung site as an authorized repair shop)... The young lady/receptionist advised me that a service tech would call me back. While waiting for for them to get back to me I made some calls to other local repair shops and was waiting for them to get back to me as well. One of these local shops did get back to me first and gave me a rough estimate. They said they would give me a more exact estimate after they confirm the parts prices. Then Kent (or Ken) - the service manager at Audio-Video Electronics called me... We were having a normal conversation... he too advised me that would get back to me with an estimate after checking on parts prices. I thanked him and asked him to please get back to me asap as I am waiting for an estimate from another shop also... THIS is where he went of the deep end all of the sudden... He started shouting at me to go ahead and use that other shop.... he WILL NOT be fixing my TV ... I was in shock at such treatment (very reminiscent of the "Soup Nazi" on the Seinfeld show)... "Are you f'n kidding me?...", I involuntarily uttered... Since when is comparison shopping is a crime? ... "NO, are YOU F'N KIDDING ME?.... I AM NOT WORKING ON YOUR TV..." responded the TV repair "Nazi"... He continued with screaming abuse, so I hung up.... I guess I am going with one of the other shops... or better yet a new TV (NON Samsung)...
