Review of Prairie Ag Air Ltd by Jeff Brown
Anyone who is looking for a job in Manitoba's oilfield could surely find a better job than this place could offer. Dispatch is a very arrogant guy, with little to no people skills. There is zero honesty in this company as you will just be told what they think you want to hear to keep you working longer. Even if it is the farthest thing from the truth. Will be expected to consistently disobey log book rules, and actually be told that you need to work over 14 hr days, and also work your days off if they fall behind. Nothing like having employees cover up poor managment, and planning by dispatch who think he can plan the day at 5:30 am and nothing will have to be adjusted. I've even heard managment call people lazy when they are sick, even when confirmed by a doctor. You shouldn't be allowed to even have an opinion when the employees are putting in over double the hours of managment, and going above and beyond what is even allowed by law. I could go on and on about this place, this is just the top of the iceberg. If your looking to bust your butt and be treated like crap for it, this might be your place. I don't think anyone is actually looking for that though. Most employees that work there currently have one foot out the door. Just hanging till something better comes along. Feel sorry for people who have to put themselves through hell and be degraded just for a pay cheque.
