For those who have time to read a lengthy review, please continue to see why I am cautioning you from going. I've been going to this salon for many years now, and today was simply the last straw. The woman who owns this salon is a vile and unpleasant shrew of a woman. I've put up with her behaviour for many years simply because she charges less than most places for a men's cut and does her job quickly. However such benefits are outweighed by the negative, which is this horrible woman's attitude and behaviour. Over the years I've witnessed how she talks about her customers in a poor light once they leave her premise. On one occasion a father and daughter arrived to get a hair cut. After they left she then proceeded to say that the father was an idiot for letting her child wear a dress in the cold weather, even though it wasn't particularly cold and she had a winter jacket on. She then proceeded to to comment on how ALL men are terrible parents. On another occasion she was telling another client that if she's unhappy in her marriage she should divorce her husband because men are terrible. In fact anything related to men this uncouth and uneducated bumpkin has a comment on. However if she particularly hates you, she will direct her comment to your face, which she has proceed to done the last two visits. The first time she commented on how "disgusting" and "greasy" my hair was despite the fact that I wash my hair daily. And then on my last visit, today, she the proceed to attack me for coming in with long hair, which she doesn't seem to understand is the reason people visit a hair salon. To be honest I have no idea why she suddenly turned her rage against me, because I have been nothing but friendly and civil with her, and frankly I don't care. There are plenty of barbers and salons in this city and no one has to put up with her abuse, especially since now she is purposely trying to drive me away from her business. I am more than willing to pay double what she charges to not have to deal with the likes of her. Today she made a show to thank all her customers for coming and when it was my turn, I thanked her and she said "ok, bye." There was an unmistakable coldness in her tone. It is evident she doesn't want my business simply because I grew out my hair longer before I visit? Seriously? I've been a patron for many years and this is how I am rewarded for my business. Well no more. You will no longer have my business. I will caution all my friends and warn them about your establishment. To be honest I should never have even visited your business. The first time I heard you open your mouth, I knew the type of person you are. You are a poisonous and despicable person. You talk about your clients in a horrible manner. You are sexist against men and the reason why society gets worse with every year. But I'm glad you showed the real you to my face, because it made it very clear to me why I'll never get my hair cut from you again.
