Review of Node-1 by Bill Hamilton
My acer laptop computers wifi was giving me problems. I took my computer here. BIG MISTAKE...... Not only were "they" not able to adequately diagnose the true problem, Richard decided it would be a good idea to "upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 That didn't work so now my data was backed up losing some of course, then format the hard drive and install a fresh Windows 10. My computer was returned to me and nothing worked properly. Windows 10 did not function and the wifi issue was still present. The computer was returned to the shop. More BS and excuses of upgrading software. A bill of $158.20 was presented. The computer still did not work. I took said computer to another shop ....much more professional with actual technicians.....within minutes I was told Windows 10 had not been activated with a proper key. Without activation the operating system WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. I spoke to Richard this day and explained my position that the problem was not fixed and others had been introduced and I had been charged a substantial amount of money and a refund is in order. He wanted me to give him my computer again to ostensibly return the operating system back to Windows 8.1. You just can't do that after the hard drive has been formatted... He must think I and other customers are stupid. DO NOT LEVE YOUR VALUABLE COMPUTER WITH THESE PEOPLE. WITH NO MONEY INVESTED IN THE COMPANY AND SUBSTANDARD SKILL SETS. IT's A WONDER THEY AER ABLE TO PAY THE RENT. MY RATING IS LESS THAN ZERO AND THEY MOST DEFINITELY OWE ME A REFUND BY ANY STANDARD OF BUSINESS PRACTICE.... RUN...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE....
