Review of Reboot North by Kevin
I ended up in reBoot, because I was calling around looking for a used replacement laptop charger. The night I called them, the gentleman who answer the phone refused to look for the charger because he was about to leave (this was 1 hr 15mins prior to the closing time indicated on their website and front door). He claimed he was certain they had the cable I was looking for. When I arrived the next morning, they in fact didn't have this cable, and tried to tell me my computer was broken and needed over 120$ in repair, which is why it wouldn't charge... I thought this was odd since the cable had been chewed heavily by my cat and was clearly the issue. I asked him to try using a universal adapter to test the computer, but he refused to do so and told me I would be waiting 3 weeks or more for parts and labour would be 80$ / hr. I refused his service and took my laptop to another location, where was able to get a new cable for twenty dollars and solved all my issues... as I suspected. So basically, I am either better at repairing computers than the staff at reBoot OR they were trying to rip me off and in the process seriously inconvenience me. I cannot recommend reBoot and I'm honestly surprised they're still in business. I would say they are easily the worst possible choice you could make. Don't waste your time.
